Twistin Tots

Our face-to-face classes are back up and running.

Twistin Tots classes are for any age 0-5. First time babies are probably best signing up to our Twistin Tinies Adventures classes which have been designed for babies aged 0-18 months, but we recognise that not all parents may be able to attend those classes when they run, so babies are very welcome to attend Twistin Tots sessions as well.

Twistin Tots sessions cover a range of fun activities, from action songs and rhymes, to puppet and parachute activities (parachutes are not being used during the pandemic). We also use lots of bubbles and disco lights to make our classes engaging and fun. We offer General sessions and Themed sessions and our Themes range from Dinosaurs and On the Farm, to Transport, Jungle and Space.

There is lots of repetition at Twistin Tots classes, as children of this age learn best by repetition, but classes are varied enough to keep everyone interested – including our parents! Some songs are performed weekly, but we also have songs that follow our themes, or which are favourites of toddlers, such as Dingle Dangle Scarecrow, Row the Boat and Sleeping Bunnies.

We have drafted some Guidance for parents attending face-to-face classes so that they know what to expect, as classes post-Lockdown will look very different to how they operated before Lockdown. Please click the link to read these.

Places are currently capped at 15 families per class (less at smallest venues).

Prices

Face-to-face classes

Classes must be paid for in advance. Customers have the option of booking single weeks, but this is more expensive than booking blocks, as we want to reward our most loyal customers with the best prices.

You can book by the term (10-14 weeks, depending on how school term falls); in blocks of 6 or 4 weeks; or single weeks. The more you book, the cheaper it becomes. Classes are term-time only.

Prices for Twistin Tots classes are as follows:

Book per term at only £5.50 per class
Book a block of 6 classes – £39
Book a block of 4 classes – £26
Book single class – £7 per class
The above prices are for ONE child; if you are bringing additional siblings, there is an additional £1 charge for each child.
At present, there is charge and no restriction on extra adults attending, but if you wish to bring more than one adult with you, please check that this is ok by calling Jacqui.

Twistin Tots Kit Bag of Props

Due to Coronavirus, we introduced a Kit Bag of props so that parents didn’t have to share props while our classes were running under covid conditions. Parents could purchase this Kit Bag, or parents were invited to provide their own equipment. Now covid has eased, we have retained the Kit Bag so that parents can undertake sessions at home, and because some parents still prefer non-sharing of props. We are, however, now sharing props at classes again, so there is no requirement to buy the Kit Bag unless you want to use it at home.
