Twistin Tots celebrated 19 years of operation on 13 June!
For our 10th birthday in June 2016, we held a birthday celebration at Belper Community Hall, which was where we started classes. It was a Free Fun Day and featured children’s entertainer, Loopy Lou who did lots of balloon modelling. We had face painting; a mini disco; a few Twistin Tots activities; a free raffle; a tombola; a selection of arts and crafts activities and a few stalls with wares of relevance to our audience. It was lots of fun and we even had Belper Mayor, Cllr Gary Spendlove to open the event. Here’s to the next 10 years!!
We also celebrate any of the children’s birthdays that are happening each week at classes. All children attending classes on their birthday receive a gift from Twistin Tots to make their birthday extra special. They get to wear the Birthday Hat (sometimes it even stays on for a few seconds!); cuddle the birthday bear; and the whole class sings them Happy Birthday. They also get to select a song to sing at class (so don’t forget to visit us when it’s your child’s birthday, and get your thinking cap on as to what song they would like!) and where we have permission, their picture gets posted on our social media.
