Established in 2006, Twistin Tots runs Derbyshire-based music and movement classes for toddlers, babies and pre-schoolers (aged 0-5).

We are Not-for-Profit so all the money we make goes straight back into the business to keep classes running.

We introduce the concepts of socialisation, co-operation and communication to very young children through music and movement. Our baby classes (Twistin Tinies Adventures) offer innovative musical sensory and baby development activities, and baby signing to children aged 0-18 months (non-walkers) and their grown ups.

Classes include a fun mix of rhymes, songs actions and props through exciting themes to educate children, keep them entertained and help them to meet EYFS key requirements.

We run Twistin Tots classes in 3 locations: Belper, Darley Abbey and Matlock; and Twistin Tinies Adventures in Belper on 2 different days.

We hold Gold Accreditation (the highest level) with the Children's Activities Association (CAA). And the highest Award from the Institute of Children's Activity Professionals (ICAP) - their 3 Gold Kites Award. To attain these, all of our procedures, policies and classes have been independently and professionally assessed and found to be of a very high standard - so you can be assured that your children are receiving the very best instruction by attending one of our classes or parties.

For the past 7 years, both of our classes and our amazing Owner / Founder, Jacqui Davis, have reached the Finals of the What's on 4 Kids Awards and last year and this year have been nominated in numerous categories of the local Lots for Tots Awards.

Spring Term now Booking

What's On 4 Kids 2023

Our new Group – Tinies & Teacups – aimed at expectant parents and new parents of babies aged 0-18 months is now up and running. This is a PAYG group run by volunteers and designed to combat isolation and loneliness in new parents and provide a safe space for them to make new friends and get advice. We have restarted our Intergenerational Sessions – Twistin Tots Golden – bringing elderly residents in car homes together with our families and will now be running regular sessions at Holbrook Hall and Springwood House in Duffield. We have two “Musical Picnic” events coming up at Holbrook Hall over the summer, and everyone is welcome to attend. Click here for more information and to book your spaces. All money raised from these events will go to fund our parental support group (above) as this is a not-for-profit group.

We have been nominated for the What’s on 4 Kids Awards 2025 again – this is the 7th year in a row! Watch this space.
