Charlotte tells us why she loves her job:
Jacqui, our Founder, writes:
I used to work in London doing 14 hour days in a high powered job. I left it all behind to get married and have kids, but after a while I needed something more. I set up Twistin Tots as a stop-gap to fill my time when my children were young. But it’s gone from strength to strength and 15 years later, I’m still doing it!! I’ve never enjoyed a job so much. I’ve always been a hard worker, but there’s something so satisfying about knowing that when you put in all that effort it will be you – and not somebody else – who reaps the rewards.
I love my job. I love the flexibility it offers. I love the fact that I can act silly around the children (in fact the sillier I am the more they love it!). I love being able to decide on my own hours and workload. I love being my own boss and not having to answer to anyone else. I love meeting all the parents and helping them out whenever I can. I love being able to cuddle loads of babies all the time (and then being able to give them back!). And it’s fabulous watching all the children develop and grow as they learn new things at my classes. I’ve never done anything that was so satisfying!
