Our Twistin Tots classes are perfect for little ones – and will suit all ages 0-5. And if you have slightly older children, they will probably enjoy participating too!
All of our classes offer a fun mix of rhymes, songs, puppets, actions and engaging activities to educate your children and keep them entertained, and will help them to develop language, communication and social skills, motor skills and co-operation. All classes also help to promote learning, co-ordination and movement in young children. Classes cover a range of themes, including Dinosaurs and Going to School, to Farm, Under the Sea, Colours and Jungle, which ensures variety of activities and music, but we always start and end with the same activities to offer some consistency and repetition for the children – as little ones learn best by repetition, and performing weekly actions that they know, also is comforting for them. Parents are encouraged to join in at face-to-face classes to ensure that children get the most from them – so feel free to so this at home as well!
Each week, as part of your subscription, you will receive a weekly password which will allow access to our Private Members Area (PMA) situated on our website. Once you access the PMA, you will see a pre-recorded video of one of our Twistin Tots themes or a General session. You will also receive details of some activities relevant to our theme that you can do at home with your child(ren), as well as downloadable colouring sheets, book recommendations, places to visit and useful articles – usually all related to our weekly theme.
Your subscription covers access to one theme per one week and will continue on a weekly basis until you cancel the subscription. Once you have signed up, you will receive a password that will allow access to one of our PMA pages via our Twistin Tots website (www.twistintots.co.uk). Once you have your password, you can access the weekly page – and watch the video of the weekly class – as as often as you wish for one week (until the following Monday evening at 7pm). If you join mid-week, you will receive your password on the day you join and the Adventure will then be available until the next Monday at 7pm. Passwords for the next week are sent out on Monday evenings, at which point you will receive your next password and access to a new class (so it’s better to sign up at the beginning of the week to gain maximum benefit).
To participate fully in our classes, you will need a selection of props. Details of the props that you will need can be found on our website at https://twistintots.co.uk/twistin-tots-kit-bag/ You can also make some of the props needed and details this can also be found on our website on the same page.
Many of the props that we use in our classes are things that you may already have at home (especially if you have older children). If so, you may just need to obtain one or two additional items. If you do not have the majority of these items, you can purchase a Twistin Tinies Kit Bag from us at a cost of £22 + £3.50 P&P and we will send this out once you subscribe if you select this option.
