Baby-friendly holidays – Julie-Anne Craig (or Jan Talbot) at Not Just Travel

“Hi there – I’m Julie-Anne and am the proud owner of Not Just Travel – Julie-Anne Craig.  I thought I’d give you a brief outline of what Jan and I can offer if you are looking for family-friendly holidays. Here is my assistant Jan, who is always also happy to help.

Julie-Anne Craig

When it comes to holidays with babies, toddlers or young children, our knowledge and hand-held service will make all the difference. The whole family deserves an enjoyable time and when you have children in tow, it’s all about the planning!

I can advise on child-friendly resorts where there are lots of activities to keep the young ones entertained. I know the best hotels that cater extensively for families – where there are age-related holiday clubs, staff with recognised child-relevant qualifications, modern family-friendly facilities and those that offer a healthy range of food suitable for all dietary requirements.

Jan Talbot, Not Just Travel

If you are interested in multi-generational holidays at hotels or self catering villas/cottages – so you can holiday with your extended family (sisters, brothers and their families, grandparents etc), again I have a wide selection of highly rated properties that ensure guests of all ages will be catered for and looked after.

All my holidays are ATOL and ABTA protected. And the best bit? My service is FREE!! It costs nothing to talk to me, you are under no obligation to book, but I can guarantee to make your holiday easier, find you the best options and remove all the stress.

Here are a few of the benefits of talking to me:

  • Personal Service: when you book with me I will do all the hard work for you and will be on hand to help you in any way until your return.
  • ABTA & ATOL protected.
  • Holidays tailor-made to your requirements. Summer holidays, Family holidays, Multi-Centre Travel Itineraries, Ski, Lapland, Disney etc Group Travel, Stag/Hen Parties, Train Travel Holidays. Special holidays, Honeymoons, Anniversaries, Bucket List Experiences.
  • I can sort out all the “extras” that can make booking a holiday stressful: car parking, car hire, lounge passes, tours, transfers, online check-ins, special requests.

And if you are travelling abroad, all your paperwork will be sent to you before you depart, you simply turn up to the airport.

So for your next holiday, why not give me a try and see what I can do for you……”

Derbyshire Toy Libraries – and resident toy expert, Ann-Marie McMillan

Derbyshire Toy Libraries (DTL) is a local charity that aims to support children’s development through the extension of play opportunities. It offers Stay and Play sessions, providing a place for parents and carers to meet; offers support for parenting and parental involvement in play; acts as a hub within the local community; and provides opportunities for volunteering and learning new skills.

It allows parents to hire toys for a short time period, so they can try them out and enhance their child’s development opportunities. Borrowing both indoor and outdoor toys means you can keep pace with your child’s development and gives your child the space to develop their interests and imagination without the expense and environmental impact of buying new toys. Plus, you can rent a number of items for a special occasion (party, wedding, christening, activity day); try before you buy; use toys to help your child develop a particular skill; encourage children to select their own toys and make choices; have a different selection of toys for your guests when they come to stay.

Pamper and Positivity Expert – Hayley Guest

Hayley will be sharing positivity and pamper tips with you. Hayley firmly believes that all parents deserve a bit of pampering – it’s all too easy to forget about ourselves when we have children, but it’s very important not to!
Hayley attended Twistin Tinies Adventures last year with her son, Arti who is now 1, having discovered Twistin Tots when we were running our free sessions over Facebook during Lockdown. Hayley also has a daughter, Evie who is 6.
Hayley writes, “Evie was diagnosed as Autistic in 2020, she is incredible and the star of the show at home.
‘I became a Body Shop at Home Consultant to find myself again and because I love the ethical ethos behind the products. Due to the support I’ve been given from my customers, I have been able to leave my permanent teaching role and focus on this role full-time. It also now allows me to spend more time with my family.
‘After the last couple of years, I want to remind us all, that we deserve a bit of self-love and a pamper now and again , even if it’s a bath (without the little ones), putting on a facemask whilst watching our favourite programme or a girly night in, enjoying a facial.
‘Self-love and taking time out for ourselves goes a long way to supporting our mental health. I will be sharing positivity and pamper techniques with the group and hope to bring a little bit of joy and relaxation to your lives!!”
