No face-to-face classes are running at present due to the Covid-19 crisis. However, we are running online sessions – Live classes over Zoom and pre-recorded sessions which can be accessed at any time on our website.
These online sessions are likely to continue once Lockdown is lifted, to allow those who are in areas where we currently do not operate classes to join our sessions.
Online sessions are available all year and do not stop in school holidays.
When face-to-face classes are able to resume, our Little Eaton Class runs as follows:
Wednesdays, 1.30pm – 2.30pm
1 hour Music Session – no need to book, just turn up!
This is a large airy hall with lots of light. It has excellent baby change facilities and a large car park. plus it is adjacent to a lovely children’s play park, so you can visit this following your class.
We get a real mix of attendees at this class – from mummies and daddies, to childminders and grandparents ! And all are made to feel very welcome by Jacqui, who runs this class. Her bubbly personality will make you feel at home straight away and your children will have a great time.
Classes cover a range of songs – many of which are repeated weekly to aid learning. We also run a number of themed classes each term (Dinosaurs, Dogs, Under the Sea, On the Farm), so look out for some new songs!
We have a number of regular ‘favourites’ that we do each week, such as Dingle Dangle Scarecrow, parachute activities, Music Man and Sleeping Bunnies, as well as puppets, bubbles, wiggle sticks and lots of action songs.
All of our classes have been inspected and assessed by the Children’s Activities Association as being to a very high standard and all class activities have some learning objectives – whether it is to develop listening skills, speech and language, motor skills (fine and gross motor skills), or help with socialisation and co-operation.
NB If you are a new customer coming for the first time, your session will be charged at a discounted rate – £2.50 for over 1s and £1 for under 1s.
Little Eaton Village Hall, Vicarage Lane
Little Eaton, DE21 5AE – see map below
There is a large free car park adjacent to the Hall.
This is a large hall so can accommodate plenty of children and there is lots of room for children (if mobile) to run around and let off steam.
Afternoon classes tend to be quieter than morning sessions, so class numbers at this venue can vary from 10 – 30, depending on the weather and the time of year. Fun play-park immediately outside the Hall too, so you can play before or after your Twistin Tots session.
