From 2011 – 2019, Twistin Tots ran Summer musical picnics – basically Twistin Tots sessions in the park, but welcoming all family members – raising money for worthy causes. Over the years, these raised thousands for our nomnated charities and proved really popular, getting bigger each year. These were free events but we would have a donation bucket to raise money for our chosen charities.
There were six musical picnics in 2019 and we managed to raise £528 for our nominated charities – Rainbows Hospice. and Belper Community Hall.
Sadly, covid put an end to these sessions for a few years, but 2025 saw them resurrected at a local Care Home, Holbrook Hall.
We ran two musical picnics summer 2025, which were a huge success. All money raised went to fund our not-for-profit parental support group – Tinies & Teacups – which is run by volunteers.
