Twistin Tots is very proud of its Awards, Nominations and Accreditations 
In 2024, we were nominated and reached the Finals of the 2025 Lots for Tots awards for the Best Session Leader – Jacqui Davis. In 2025, we have been nominated again and have again reached the Finals for 2026, in the Best Toddler Class category. We look forward to the Awards dinner in May where we will find out if we are a winner – but we know that we and our classes are, even without the Award!!
Children’s Activities Association
We are Gold Members of the CAA (Children’s Activities Association) which means that all of our classes, course programmes, policies (and everything else!) has been assessed as being to the highest standard. In order to achieve Gold Accreditation, members must show that they have all the correct policies, procedures and lesson plans place. An independent Assessor then visits classes and examines all the documentation submitted to ensure that it meets the CAA’s standards.

Since 2019, we have been nominated for – and reached the Finals of – the What’s On 4 Kids Awards every year.
Institute of Children’s Activity Providers (ICAP)
In 2021, we applied for ICAP Membership and our classes were assessed for their Gold Kite Quality Assurance Rating. In April 2021, we received the ICAP highest Quality Assurance Award – 3 Gold Kites!

In January 2022, we found out that we had won not one but FOUR Awards in the Every Giggle Awards – and we are delighted!! This is what we received…..

Derbyshire County Council Breastfeeding Friendly Award
In November 2021, we applied for, and were granted, the DCC Breastfeeding Welcome Here Award.
We are committed to supporting breastfeeding at all our classes and wherever possible will assist parents in this activity by providing a separate room for feeding if required (and available), drinking water and baby changing facilities.
Twistin Tots is a member of the Early Years Alliance, the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England.
It is a registered educational charity and represents 14,000 members, supporting them to deliver care and learning to over 800,000 families every year. Their vision is a society where every child enjoys the opportunity to learn through play. They believe families should be at the centre of policy-making and empowered to become fully involved with their child’s learning and development. They support early years providers to deliver high quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life and their vision matches that of Twistin Tots.
