Babies are like little sponges, so any activity you do at home – however simplistic and basic it may seem to you – will be a big learning experience for your baby. Think of them as a painting: they are a blank canvas when they are born and you are the artist, helping them to apply the paint. It take a while to create a masterpiece, but you get there over time and much practise!!
To help your baby realise their full potential, as well as your face-to-face class, if you attend Twistin Tinies Adventures, you also get access to our Private Members’ Area each week (access to this Area is restricted to those who are signed up to classes).
If you want to help your baby develop to their full potential, do try to undertake some of our online activities when you have time. Our online resources can be accessed at any time; and because of this, you can also get your partner and/or other family members who may not be able to attend classes or share in baby’s development in the day time – involved in developmental activities when they are around.
Using the weekly links that you are provided with, you can access an array of activities and materials that will help you to develop and entertain your baby at home, including:
- tips and advice on many baby related topics – ranging from the development of the vestibular system, to how to play with blocks to develop your baby
- a recorded version of the class so you will never miss a session again – your partner and other family members can also join in with these sessions at home; and you can watch where and when you want
- our weekly baby signs
- a weekly Home Activity – usually something to make to aid baby’s development
- details of how to create a themed sensory exploration area for your baby
- our weekly Information Topic – which may offer advice on weaning, sleeping, baby proofing your home (and lots of other useful baby-related topics).
Our Private Members Area is developing all the time to make your interactive journey with us even more helpful and engaging.
We also have a Private Facebook group for our Twistin Tinies Adventures classes where those attending classes will be able to access ‘specialists’ on certain subjects to get advice etc, and ask questions of and get advice from other parents.
