No face-to-face classes are running at present due to Covid-19. However, we are running online classes and will be starting back at face-to-face classes w/c 28 September. If you are interested in a place at classes, please email us at Jacqui@twistintots.co.uk
When we return to face-to-face classes, our Horsley Woodhouse class will run as follows:
Wednesdays 1.45 – 2.45
To keep all of our parents safe following the COVID-19 pandemic, all of our Twistin Tots classes will:
- be capped at 10 families
- be socially distanced where possible
- be well-ventilated
- follow COVID-19 guidance
- not share props, or if they do, will ensure that they are quarantined or robustly cleaned after a single use
- provide a Kit Bag of props that can be purchased or hired to ensure no cross-contamination from activities
Our classes will still be fun, interactive and engaging, so we hope you will sign up! we developed a lot of new themes over Lockdown during our FREE Facebook Live sessions (we ran over 80 classes for parents for free) and we hope you will enjoy them as much once we are back face-to-face as you did on Facebook.
This venue is a Dance Studio and as such is exempt from the requirement to wear face coverings – although parents are welcome to wear them if they wish. As this venue is smaller than some of our other venues, numbers at this venue are capped at 8. At all of our classes, we will be adhereing to social distancing guidelines; however, we realise that toddlers are unaware of social distancing rules and although our Team will try and ensure that correct distances are maintained, we know that this will not always be possible. We do ask for parents to try and assist with this wherever possible.
We have developed some Guidance for parents attending face-to-face classes so that parents know what to expect when we return after Lockdown.
Classes cover a range of songs – we have a number of regular ‘favourites’ that we do often – such as Dingle Dangle Scarecrow, Music Man and Sleeping Bunnies – and as we won’t be able to use our parachutes for a while, we will be using lots of puppets, bubbles, wiggle sticks and action songs.
All of our classes have been inspected and assessed by the Children’s Activities Association as being to a very high standard and all class activities have some learning objectives – whether it is to develop listening skills, speech and language, motor skills (fine and gross motor skills), or help with socialisation and co-operation. We have recently reached the finals of the 2020 What’s on 4 Kids Awards for our Twistin Tots classes and will find out in October 2020 if we are a winner!
This class is usually run by Frankie.
This venue is a large venue – easily able to accommodate social distancing requirements – with ample free parking and baby change facilities. Please note, this venue is upstairs.
