New for 2012

Twistin’ Tots classes aim to promote learning, co-ordination and movement in young children. Themed sessions use simple actions that children can copy and memorise and there are a variety of props used to assist children’s learning development and motor skills. Classes are suitable from birth to aged five.

Classes include many children’s favourite songs, including Dingle Dangle Scarecrow, Music Man and Horsey Horsey. Most use simple actions that children can join in with and there are a variety of props used to assist children’s co-ordination, learning development and motor skills. Parents are encouraged to join in to ensure that children get the most from classes.

Classes are run by local mum, Jacqui Davis, who has two children aged five and seven, both who have attended Twistin’ Tots and enjoyed the classes.

Jacqui says, “We have children coming from different backgrounds and of different ages - from newborns to those almost at school. I try to offer a range of different songs and rhymes so there is something for every age. Numbers at classes vary, but as classes are popular, you can now book and pay in advance, which also makes it slightly cheaper. I have a core of regular mums, dads, grans and granddads who come each week, but lots of others who turn up on spec, so hopefully that means I am doing something right! If you are looking for something to use up some of that surplus energy that your child has, bring them along and help them develop new skills while still having fun.”

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
Public liability insurance to £2m.
